The locations of The Teapottery are as eye catching as our teapots - which come in all shapes and sizes from the beautiful and elegant to the vibrant, fun and wacky.
Winding your way through the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and its picture book landscapes - is where the Teapottery adventure begins. After initially setting up in a remote and derelict farm at Swineside, we later relocated to the quaint market town of Leyburn which has been our home for over two decades and the birthplace of our eccentric teapots!
Leyburn itself boasts a wealth of history and was called ‘Le Bourne’ in the Doomsday Book.
It has developed over the years as the traditional centre for local shopping and trade. The Teapottery has also won an award for its major contribution to the visitor attractions in the region.
In 1995 visitors to the Lake District were delighted that we set up our second retail outlet in Keswick – amid its equally individual and stunning scenery.
